How your information is kept safe

In plain terms, no jargon — here's what happens to what you add to this page.

What we collect

Only what you choose to type in: a household name, your street, and optionally a phone number, email, photo, and details about your children — their age, school, class, and interests are all optional, and it's your call how much to share.

Who can see it

By default, anyone with this page's link only sees that your household has joined — not your contact details, address, or anything about your children. Full details are visible to the grandparents (who can view, but not edit) and a couple of trusted admins (who can view and manage the page), each using their own separate passcode. From your own entry's edit screen, you can also choose to share your full details with other neighbours who've joined — that's entirely optional and off unless you turn it on.

Where it's stored

In a private online database (not a public website or search engine), reachable only through this page. Nothing here is sold, advertised against, or shared with anyone outside this street's page.

You're always in control

Only you can edit or remove your own entry, using the passcode you set when you joined. At any time, from your entry's edit screen, you can download a copy of your details or delete them completely — deleting is immediate and can't be undone by us, so we suggest downloading a copy first if you might want to rejoin later.
